Customer notification: truTV HD moving to West Coast feed

trutv

Effective at 6 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 30), the truTV channel is moving to its West Coast feed within BendBroadband’s coverage area.

This change is required by the network’s parent company and only affects the HD version of the channel, which airs on 742. The SD version on 142 will not be affected.

For Central Oregon viewers, this means programming will shift three hours earlier, so if you usually watch a show at, say, 9 p.m., it will now air at 6 p.m.

Unfamiliar with truTV? Here’s a bit from its website:

truTV is a brisk mix of comedy, competition and quirky characters. We take viewers to new places that surprise and delight, infusing fun into more than 92 million unsuspecting households with original series like Impractical Jokers, The Carbonaro Effect and South Beach Tow. truTV is rolling out even more programs, including Friends of the People, How to Be a Grown-Up, Fake Off, Hair Jacked, Barmageddon, Branson Famous, Hack My Life. And the fun doesn’t stop there. We’re also a partner in airing the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Sounds like a blast, right?

truTV is proud to brag about being part of the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner company which creates and programs branded news; entertainment; animation and young adult; and sports media environments on television and other platforms for consumers around the world.
