Love the freedom and exploration that comes with trail running?

Yeah, us too.

That’s why we’re sending one lucky runner to Max King’s Trail Running Camp at Mt. Shasta in September.

(We’ve been working with Max a lot this summer, including our recent Ultrafast Internet campaign.)

The camp, which runs from Sept. 21-25, includes five days and four nights of running around Mt. Shasta and the Trinity National Forest. You’ll learn about trail maintenance, map reading, nutrition planning, wilderness preparation and of course train with runs throughout one of the most beautiful places in northern California. You won’t have to worry about a thing, as lodging, transportation and food are included in the camp.

To enter our Max King Trail Running Camp contest, you’ll need to do two things:

  1. Post a picture on Facebook or Twitter of you on your favorite trail with a short description of why you love running.
  2. Tag your post with @BendBroadband and #MaxKingTRC.

That’s it. We’ll accept entries until 11:59 p.m., Sept. 1 and announce a winner the afternoon of Sept. 2.

So run! Post! Tag!

And prepare for the camp of a lifetime.

Nearly every big time front man tries it, and it’s probably only a 50% or so success rate. Today’s artist did it – and had some solid results, but will probably forever be known for his work with probably one of the top 50 rock bands of all time. Continue Reading
