The first ever Women of the Year Awards will honor local females of all ages, cultures and roles. This is our chance to reward those who have demonstrated commitment to the betterment of our region through significant voluntary contributions.
Is there a special, hard working woman who amazes you with her professional acumen? Someone who finds time for the community, and serves as a mentor to other women?
The search is on for outstanding women in these categories:
1) Woman of the Year
Recognizes a woman who excels in her career, field or passion and/or has made a significant achievement in a traditionally male-dominated area.
2) Young Woman of the Year
Shines a spotlight on a young woman 20-35 years of age who excels in aspects of her career or community-related efforts.
3) Community Hero
Acknowledges a local hero and/or volunteer; a woman who is making outstanding contributions to her local community.
4) Young Hero
Rewards a local young lady under 20 years of age and/or a volunteer who is making outstanding contributions to her local community.
