Changes to BendBroadband Business Value Channel Package

We have exciting news about the BendBroadband Business value package channel lineup. In recent weeks two of our existing networks have rebranded and transformed into Fox Sport 1 and Fox Sports 2.

Fox Sports 1 (formerly Speed Channel) will consist of sports and sports-related programming, which will include live events from MLB (regular and post-season), NASCAR, UFC, NCAA Division 1 football (e.g., from Big 12 and Pac-12 and/or successor conferences) and live international soccer games (e.g. World Cup and UEFA Champions League). Fox Sports 1 will cover a minimum of 200 major live events per calendar year. Fox Sports 1 on channel 635 is broadcast in stunning high-definition and channel 35 in standard-definition.

Fox Sports 2 (formerly Fuel) will continue to broadcast familiar sports programming: Formula One, IndyCar, Motocross, MotoGP, SportsCars, SuperCross, and NASCAR. As a matter of fact, Fox Sports and IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) have just announced a five-year deal that solidifies United SportsCar Racing’s home on television through the 2018 season. You can find Fox Sports 2 on channel 34 in standard-definition.

We are delighted to note that this new great content from Fox comes with no 2013 change in price.

Finally, Al Jazeera America has acquired Current TV (channel 141). Like other international news organizations, Al Jazeera America is committed to provide high-quality, objective and balanced investigative journalism. The network is hiring well-respected American journalists to report on American stories from coast to coast. Soledad O’Brien, who became a well-known and widely respected journalist as a CNN reporter and anchor, joined Al Jazeera America in July.

We truly appreciate your business and hope you will enjoy the new Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and Al Jazeera networks. If you have any questions about this change or your partnership with us, please call your BendBroadband Business Services representative at (541) 312-6600.
