If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Concert TV selections yet, the first concert videos include Led Zeppelin’s 2007 reunion concert as well as concert movies from the Rolling Stones, Bee Gees and Jason Aldean.
Led Zeppelin – Celebration Day: On Dec. 10, 2007, Led Zeppelin took the stage at London’s O2 Arena to headline a tribute concert for friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. What followed was a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band’s signature blues-infused rock that instantly became a part of the legend of Led Zeppelin.
Founding members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from the band’s celebrated catalog, including “Whole Lotta Love,” “Rock And Roll” and “Stairway to Heaven.”
This concert and many others are now available exclusively on BendBroadband on Demand. Led Zeppelin joins bands such as the Rolling Stones, the Bee Gees, Bon Jovi and Coldplay.
Rolling Stones – Ladies and Gentlemen: This concert film was shot during two concerts in Texas during the band’s 1972 North American Exile On Main Street tour. The film showcases the Stones doing what they do best: guitar-fueled R&B with pop flair and youthful rebelliousness thrown in for good measure. The concert renditions of “Gimme Shelter,” “Brown Sugar,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Can’t Always Get What You Want” surpass anything recorded to date.
Bee Gees – One Night Only: 1997 was an amazing year for the Bee Gees, with inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, plus Lifetime Achievement Awards from the British, American and World Music Awards, topped off by a “One Night Only” concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the group’s only live concert in 1997 and its first U.S. concert in nearly 10 years. The brothers Gibb perform their greatest hits from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s, including many songs that were written for and made popular by other artists,
Bon Jovi – The Circle Tour: This special live show captures the magic and energy of Bon Jovi’s sold-out, four-night live performance at New Jersey’s New Meadowlands Stadium. It features footage shot during these epic nights, which drew 200,000 fans on the band’s home turf, and began with the stadium’s inaugural concert on May 26, 2010.
Coldplay – Live 2003: This live concert was filmed during the band’s 2003 A Rush of Blood to the Head World Tour. Recorded live at the Horden Pavilion in 2003 in support of the band’s sophomore album, “A Rush of Blood to the Head,” the concert gives a glimpse of Coldplay during the early days of the band’s meteoric rise to rock stardom.
Available in the “Music” category, the on-demand Concert TV videos range from $2.99 to $3.99. The concert videos are available in both standard definition and HD.
