BendBroadband Launches CBS Sports Network

CBSPBRNOV14CBS Sports Network launched in the BendBroadband Sports Tier on Nov. 1. Customers will be able to watch the National Rodeo Finals on the network in December.

Nothing gets Central Oregonians’ hearts pumping like watching professional bull riding. Buckle up and get ready for the National Rodeo Finals, to be telecast Dec. 4-13 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The National Rodeo Finals moved from Great American Country (GAC) to CBS Sports Network for 2014. BendBroadband will provide wall-to-wall coverage of the rodeo finals.

CBS Sports Network is the 24-hour destination for sports and the home of a wide array of sports programming.

Jim Rome offers his patented brand of sports, news and smack on “The Jim Rome Show,” airing weekdays at 6 p.m.

The network presents “The Doug Gottlieb Show,” featuring sports talk, headlines and interviews with current and former sports icons, from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays.

Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton offer their unique perspectives on everything from quarterback play and coaching decisions to the latest trades. Catch “Boomer and Carton” every weekday from 6 to 10 a.m.

Finally, “We Need to Talk” is the first-ever all-female sports show. It features a deep roster of journalists and former athletes. Commentators include former pro tennis player Katrina Adams, five-time Olympic swimmer Dara Torres, and Lesley Visser, the first female NFL TV analyst and the only woman in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “We Need to Talk” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m.

Find CBS Sports on BendBroadband Channel 41 in standard definition and Channel 641 in HD. CBS Sports is available in the Sports tier.

BendBroadband will not increase the price of the Sports tier as a result of the addition of CBS Sports.

GAC remains on BendBroadband’s channel lineup.
