How to create folders and filters in your BendBroadband email mailbox

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to create new destination folders and email filters in your BendBroadband mailbox.

If you have more than one email address with BendBroadband (i.e. bendbroadband.com, bendcable.com and/or chamberscable.com) and you’d like to keep incoming emails to those addresses separated in your mailbox, follow these steps and each address will be filtered to its own folder.

1. At bendbroadband.com/webmail, enter your username and password and left-click the “LOGIN” button. (View screen shot.)

CREATE A NEW DESTINATION FOLDER (skip to step 6 below to create a filter to an existing folder)
2. Right-click the “Inbox” folder. (View screen shot.)
3. In the dropdown menu, left-click “New Folder.” (View screen shot.)
4. In the “Name” field, type the name of the folder you’re creating (i.e. “bendcable email”). (View screen shot.)

CREATE AN EMAIL FILTER
6. Left-click the orange “Preferences” tab. (View screen shot.)
7. Left-click “Filters.” (View screen shot.)
8. Left-click the “New Filter” button. (View screen shot.)
9. In the “Filter Name” field, type the name of the filter you’re creating (i.e. “bendcable”). (View screen shot.)
10. Left-click the “Subject” button. (View screen shot.)
11. In the dropdown menu, select “To.” (View screen shot.)
12. Left-click the “all” button. (View screen shot.)
13. In the dropdown menu, select “domain.” (View screen shot.)
14. In the text box, type the domain name you’d like to filter (i.e. “bendcable.com”). (View screen shot.)
15. Left-click “Keep in Inbox” and select “Move into folder” from the dropdown menu. (View screen shot.)
16. Left-click the “Browse” button. (View screen shot.)
17. In the “Choose Folder” menu, select the folder you want to filter emails to (i.e. “bendcable email”). Note: This is the folder you named in Step 4. (View screen shot.)
