Thank you for your patience during BendBroadband’s recent billing-system conversion. The new system offers more security for our customers and an opportunity to provide better service.
And although changes like this are never easy, they are ultimately for the better. So thank you for your acceptance of these changes over the past few weeks.
New Online Payment System
BendBroadband is pleased to offer customers its new online payment system, which is powered by the MyCare portal.
To log in to the new online payment system, you’ll need to use the user name and password for your BendBroadband online account. In other words, use your BendBroadband-provided email address (if you have one), which ends in @bendbroadband.com, @bendcable.com, @chamberscable.com–and its associated password. Note: in addition to giving you access to your email and online bill pay, this user name/password combination also gives you access to Internet usage, too.
If you don’t have a Bendbroadband-provided email address, you’ll need to set up an online account. Click here for instructions on how to do that.
If you previously used automatic payments with BendBroadband, good news: your payment information was carried over to the new system and your payments will continue to be made without any action required from you.
New Account Number, PIN
By now, you should have received a new 16-digit account number and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Please refer to this account number going forward on any correspondence with us; you’ll need the four-digit PIN when calling to discuss information about your service or bill. Remember, the PIN is for your protection! It secures your account and prevents unauthorized charges.)
New Internet Usage Alerts
You now have the option to receive your Internet-usage alerts by text message. Text alerts can be sent in addition to, or in place of, email notifications. To choose text message alerts, log in to the Internet Usage portal (using your BendBroadband online account user name and password). Then, in the Manage Account menu, choose Usage Notification Preferences.
Whether you choose to receive alerts by text, email, or both, you’ll automatically receive notification when you hit 90% or 100% usage. You can also elect to receive alerts at 50%, 75%, and 95%.
New Phone Payment Option
You now have a new option for paying by phone! In addition to making payments using a credit or debit card, you can choose to pay by making an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) withdrawal from a checking or savings account.
Same-day payments can still be made over the phone. Please note: Payments might not post to your checking account on the day of the transaction. However, your payment will be applied to your account immediately. To pay by phone, call us at 541.382.5551. It’s free!
