BendBroadband donates $15,000 to Latino Community Association for laptops

Congratulations to the Latino Community Association in Central Oregon as the 2021 recipients of $15,000 in grant money from the TDS Diversity, Equity & Inclusion STEM Community Fund. TDS is the parent company of BendBroadband.

Latino Community Association (LCA)
LCA will be awarded $15,000 to purchase 25 laptops, which will go directly to families in the region, helping to create equity and remove technology barriers, while providing new opportunities for people to thrive.

LCA’s mission is to help Latino families thrive by creating opportunities for advancement and building bridges that unite and strengthen all. The organization envisions a cohesive and diverse community where all people are valued and empowered to participate and contribute to the health and prosperity of Central Oregon.
