BendBroadband launches ACC Network Sept. 1

Beginning Sept. 1, BendBroadband will offer the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in its TDS TV+ Voyage Package and in the Expanded and Family Tier for its TV package customers.

The ACC Network provides games from the 15-member universities who compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)’s Division 1. The network also provides game highlights and press conferences.  The ACC’s football season kicks off Sept. 2 with a game between South Florida and NC State.

Current members of the conference are:

Boston College, Clemson University, Duke University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Florida State University, North Carolina State University, Syracuse University, the University of Louisville, the University of Miami, the University of North Carolina, the University of Notre Dame, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Wake Forest University.

The ACC Network will replace the ESPN Classic channel.

For BendBroadband customers, ACC will be found on Channel 30 in Crestview and Channel 23 Standard Definition/Channel 623 High Definition in Bend. For TDS TV+ customers, the ACC Network will be on Channel 246.

The launching of the ACC Network was part of a new, multi-year distribution agreement with Disney Media and Entertainment and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC).
