We’re excited to be a part of these upcoming events in September and early October:

  • Latino Fest. The Latino Community Association will hold this celebration of Latino American heritage from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Sahalee Park in Madras. The fest will include live music, delicious food, a community resource fair, piñatas, and games for kids.
  • Heroes on the Run. Dogs and humans will come together at Street Dog Hero’s annual event featuring adoptable dogs, fun runs, raffles, live music, food trucks, a beer garden, kids’ slide and much more. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at Athletic Club of Bend, 61615 Athletic Club Drive.
  • Walk for Recovery. While a large in-person gathering isn’t happening this year, you can still contribute to a modified Walk for Recovery, an event that helps those recovering from addiction and the Oregon Recovers organization. Click here for more.
  • Redmond Taco & Margarita Festival. Over 10 of Oregon’s best restaurants, food trucks and carts will serve up an amazing variety of mouth-watering tacos and related food items on Sept. 25 at the Deschutes County Expo Center.
  • Bend Fall Festival. Celebrate autumn at one of Downtown Bend’s biggest events of the year Oct. 1-3. Featuring live music, Harvest Market, over 100 vendors offering handmade and artisan goods, family activities and much more.

If you’re going to any of these great events, be sure to stop by the BendBroadband vendor booth for a chance to win prizes!
